Early in the race at Belle Isle, Detroit. Unser and Andretti had just passed Gordon and were leading the way down the chute between turns 12 and 13. I had to shoot with such long lenses at this street track, because my press pass never materialized. Getting frame filling images from behind the fence is not easy, especially when some volunteer track marshall gets a kick out of walking into my field of vision...
