Saturday qualifying at Mid Ohio. I positioned myself in one of the holes in the fence around the fascinating turn 4-5-6 combo. Turn 5 is the one right on top of the small hill, and seen from this lower hole, one can look right underneath these cars. Autofocus was impossible, so I used as much depth of field as I could get, resulting in nice tire blur and a very crisp car. The low exposure was possible because there was little lateral motion of the car.

Tech Info: 300/f2.8, f7.1, 1/250sec, EOS-1N, handheld, Fuji Super G 100asa
