Again at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin in turn 5 - after shooting several rolls with the great 70-200 zoom, I decided to try the 300mm lens - otherwise I would have carried that heavy thing for no reason that morning. I panned with the cars through the turn towards the exit and tried a few different agles. Teh Atuofocus really helped in that low light situation, although in many cases it locked onto a tire. This shot of Adrian Fernandez turned out perfectly - crisp and sharp and a nice crop.

Tech Info: 300/f2.8, f4.0, 1/1500sec, EOS-1N, handheld, Fuji Super G 100asa
