Another shot from Laguna Seca. The 14mm wideangle allowed me to capture the entire pit lane, while emphasising the foreground with the fill flash. I was standing behind a few team members and figured a nice top-view of the scene might look good, so I stretched my arms and aimed my camera at the car, not expecting to get an image that would have half of Laguna Seca in the frame! The amount of detail in this frame still amazes me (doesn't help the JPEG compression, though). Not a cheap lens, but it defiitely adds punch to otherwise boring scenes.

Tech Info: 14/f2.8, f11, 1/125sec, fill flash at -2/3 stops, EOS-1N, handheld, Fuji Super G 100asa
