Again - up close in pit lane. This time I expected a tire-smoking takeoff, as Cheever had been penalized for 8 minutes after running out of fuel on the track. Time was ticking away, Foyt was getting anxious, and then the go came. I had the camera set for 6fps and as he dropped the clutch, I hit the exposure button... the only problem I have with this picture is the Scotch film I had to use. Grainy at 100 asa; go figure!
