
This is one of my "early works." Saturday morning warmup at Milwaukee in turn 4. It doesn't take a press pass and great cameras to capture good picture: I paid NOTHING for parking or admission that day - infield is free during qualifying at Milwaukee. I walked right to the inside of turn 4 where the view was good and the light was right. On the track in turn 4 was a bump that seemed to give a few cars some problems! That day I shot several spins and three cars making wall contact. Lyn St. James was the first one to lose it, and she lost it the hardest. This image is actually more interesting than the impact, as it is obvious to the observer what "will" happen next... Camera, lens and film are all second grade, but for net-publishing this stuff is good enough!
