This is the image I had hoped for when I positioned myself in the area between pit lane and track at Toronto, looking into turn 11 during Saturday warmup. Most cars left a puff of smoke behind them, and I hoped to capture at least that smoke cloud for some of them. Apparentlyy, Raul was not running with the "jabrock" plywood protection that got so famous at Portland when Unser was disqualified after losing that material off the bottom of his car. Raul is clearly hitting the ground with metal. I also love the streak of humid air coming off the left side of his rear wing! Focus was another problem, as the car didn't spend any time in the viewfinder for AI-tracking - so it was back to the old manual focus and motordrive...
