Each summer between 1987 and 1994 I traveled to the West Coast to spend a few weeks in the high country. The California Sierras became my favorite location as I explored the highcountry between Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks, hiking on and off trails. The result of the journeys were several thousand slides of one of the most pristine wilderness locations in the western world.
