This was in Fall 1994 I think...
Photos from the legendary first Wisconsin Internet Mail Run in Wisconsin's Nicolet Forest near the town of Lakewood. This was probably the first time a group of 4x4 geeks who had access to the rec.autos.offroad newsgroup got together and met for a few days of wheeling in the woods. I just (Jan. 2000) heard that many of these people still get together frequently and meet to enjoy getting lost in the woods together. If I recall correctly, the attending drivers were myself (black 4Runner), Al Kieker from Minnesota (brand new Cherokee), Brian Swearingen from Appleton (rusty FJ40) and Rick Colombo from Chicago in his big Bronco.
