Room Treatment Progress / 4335_aerial_listening_area_mess View of the mess called the "listening area" - currently home for a file server in parts and everything that's removed from behind the speakers. There's a big white wall above the door down low in the back of the picture: that's where 3 more 2" panels will be mounted soon. Right now the laptop on the bottom right actually controls the system, reading music files off an older server in the basement. That messy pile of CDs in the far corner will disappear as soon as the new server is up and running and has space for all that stuff. White dots on the tweeter mount screws of the maggies are ERS paper with double sided tape. Seems to make things a lot smoother, but then that may also have been due to the beer I had the night I tested this tweak. Speakers will be gutted completely real soon, rewired and prepped for biamping... too many projects.
