| Don't forget this step - you need to ckeck which wire goes to the signal or return pin. Once you identify the proper wires, get the cable and plugs in position to solder the second plug. Then repeat the heat shrink, screw the back of the plug on carefully. Then test again for conductivity. Cross-test as well, so you know you don't have a short circuit in there. Once everything looks good, finish the job with the final heat shrink that holds the flex tubing and the plug in place. |
