Before soldering the other end of the cable, make sure you slide everything you need onto the rope first. If the back of the RCA plug needs to be filed to fit over the heat shrink, do it before this step. Cut the flex tubing to the final size, and hiold everything back with some tape, so you can work on the solder without this stuff sliding over your work.
