| Before working on the other end of the wire, put the flex tubing onto the cable, and secure it to the plug you just finished. Note that I use heat shrink just a little shorter than the shrink below the flex tubing and the plug. This is to allow me to cut the outer shrink tubing off the plugs and not risk cutting one of the silver wires below. There have been occasions when I had to fix the wire connections inside the Eichmann plugs, although it has only been an issue with the very stiff Teflon tubing core of the orignial design by Chris VenHaus. |
