| Here a closeup of the finished silver wire wrapped around the cotton core at 1" lateral spacing. This picture shows both runs - signal and return wire in place. If you want to run two return wires, or build a balanced cable, you will need to increase the spacing somewhat. I don't recommend three wires unless you are using insulated wires (however, the uninsulated silver sounds better in my system and is a lot cheaper) |
