| Keep the silver wire nice and tight, but not too tight. It should not dig into the cotton too deeply, but you also don't want it to move around on the core when you try to move it around with your finger. If you pull it out of the duct tape at the end of the rope, you are pulling too hard. Note how the wire crosses my black marks every other time. The return wire will cross the markings left out this time. |
